Associate Professor of environmental engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba. Beata’s research is primarily in potable water treatment. Solid/liquid separation is the key process in water purification. Beata specializes in the analyses of particles formed during the treatment process and the methods to remove them from the water. She is an active member of Particle Specialist Group at the International Water Association and has been invited keynote speaker on a number of conferences.
Assistant Professor of environmental engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba. Her research interests cover a variety of environmental engineering topics, with primary research area being nutrient removal and recovery. She is particularly interested in the technological implementation of biological phosphorus removal and chemical phosphorus recovery. She is also interested in leachate treatment, biomass fermentation, and anaerobic digestion.

Professor of environmental engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba. His research interests are in biological nutrient removal and recovery and advanced membrane processes as well as biosolids management and bioreactor landfills.
